Parker Middle School holds Memorial Day assembly
in News
Parker Middle School held a school-wide assembly on Friday, May 23, in honor of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.
Student representatives from each of the eight teams in the building read meaningful poems and passages honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and preserve the freedoms Americans cherish.
The school’s amazing Select Chorus, Festival Band and Festival Orchestra performed the National Anthem and Mr. Linsner performed “Taps” at the conclusion of the assembly. It was a moving and meaningful tribute.
A special thanks goes out to the following students who read their passages in front of the entire school community: Indira Singam, Madison Williams, Ryan Rosetti, Ansh Patel, Liam Crannell, Elizabeth Ruete, Matthew Micozzi, Claire Souza and Natalie DeVito.
